Help me test!!!!

Okay, so my host has been saying that I’ve been using up a lot of resources lately, so I’ve been working on a solution, but I need help.

The gallery will temporarily redirect to go to http://testing.ryuutama.com. Gallery has been moved successfully. It is the exact same as the gallery, but just on Amazon’s EC2 hosting, and should work better. So, just do what you do normally and help me stress this new build out.

Please leave any comments, suggestions, or any bugs that you encounter, and I’ll try to get it fixed ASAP.

Moved again

Host moved me to another server that had less people using cpu time. Apparently, I’m one of the few that use up more than anyone else… Maybe it’s time to find another host. We’ll see how this works out. It may end up coming to that.

Problems

Looks like the move to the new data center was a major problem. The server my shared hosting was on was constantly at 200-300 cpu load. Basically, it means there’s 200-300 times more load than the cpu can handle. Major problem. That led to slow downs and the support staff marking my site as part of the problem, which it isn’t, because when they disabled the gallery, it actually got worse.

It’s a little bit handled now, down to around 10, but I’m still waiting on support to respond back to me before I dare bring it back online. Please be patient. It’ll be handled soon.

Site Hiccups

My host has moved my site from their server in LA to somewhere on the East Coast, but it’s a newer data center, so I guess it’s better. Getting things situated now, things should be back to normal. Gallery has been fixed and the malware warning should be gone.

Twitter connectivity should be fixed as well and should be updating. Make sure you follow at http://twitter.com/ryuunotamashii.

Hey guys,

Just a little update. I’ve been extremely busy lately, travelling as well as work. I hope things will die down soon and I can at least get a couple things done. The malware warnings have been taken care of. I found the root problem and it’s been fixed.

Also, I’m also going to try something.  I’m going to take a couple requests, with some guidelines because of my limited time:

  1. You have to upload it to mediafire and post the link
  2. No loli, shota, or guro. If it looks like it, don’t bother posting. Everything else is fine
  3. I don’t have much time right now, the less text the better, I will be prioritizing based on this so I can get some releases out.
  4. Surprise me.
I will start on the bigger projects when I get more time.

FUKE has released Tokoharusou chapters 5 and 6. You can see his post and download here. Or I have it uploaded on my gallery.

Slow Progress

Progress is slow. Sad. Have a work project to finish up in a week, so that’s bogging me down.

However, thanks to Dark Ren, I’ve found a Chinese version of Tokoharusou that’s been cleaned really well, so that’ll save me a bunch of time.

Other than that, I’ve been going on a CL-Orz binge. All that full color, smooth shading, foot job, anal, creampie goodness. You can really see how Clesta slowly improves in the art with each release.

Throw in a nice little foursome story by Ominaeshi, and a tried and true Tsukino Jyogi doujinshi, and… brb fapping.

More CL-Orz to come later. Oh, did I mention most of them are uncensored? YEAAAAAAAAAH

Fuck Finals

Hey guys, just a little update. Gonna be done with finals soon and Paizuri will be finished promptly. Thank you to those that uploaded raws for Tokoharusou Ch.5, that will be worked on afterwards (although I wish the raws were a little better).

Probably gonna improve the gallery a little bit as well. Maybe add a detailed info view with thumbnail previews (yay!) and similar and suggested after readings. We’ll see how it goes.

Hey guys,

Just a quick update so you know what I’m up to. Paizuri has been delayed, sadly. Some stuff came up, but I was already about 60% done, so once this clears up, should be soon.

Also, FUKE has released a proper translation of Welcome to Tokoharusou Ch. 2 – 4. You can get it and see an in depth comparison at his blog here.

Also, I think I will have enough time to do Chapter 5 when scans of it decide to surface on the internet.

[Kurikara] Paizuri Ch.10 [ENG] + New Gallery

Another chapter of Paizuri complete, but that’s the small news.

Introducing the new gallery! It’s still being worked on, but I’ve got all the major features completed.

  1. The index and browsing has been completely redesigned and now uses javascript and ajax to grab the next page without the page reloading. Check it out, it’s fun.
  2. Keyboard navigation should now work for most major browsers. I’ve only personally tested on Chrome and Firefox, so let me know if it works for you.
  3. Because of the recent shut downs with many DDL sites, I have now implemented a trial DDL directly from my site! I’ve only got 3 files uploaded atm. I’m only planning on doing this with new releases as uploading everything from the past would require a lot of work. You have to visit the browse section of the gallery to see the link.
  4. You can now sort by most recent, least recent, all, uncensored, etc.

If I think of anything more, I’ll post another update. Oh, and give me suggestions, I’m always up for that.

Chapter linking was just finished. Try it out and let me know how well it works. It only goes one way, 1 -> 2 -> 3 etc. You can try it out with these chapters by Fue I just uploaded. You have to click next or the image when you’re on the last page.

Gallery Updates

You may or may not have noticed the random changes with the gallery. It’s something I’ve finally managed to get time to work on. Some things already done:

  • Autocomplete for searches.
  • Images are now shown at their max resolution.
  • New way of serving images.
  • Auto scrolls to the top every time a new image is loaded.
  • Header image now changes when you hover over (Try it, it’s fun!).
  • Number of views a work has has been fixed to be more accurate.
  • Clicking on an image now makes it show the next image.

Things being worked on/going to be worked on:

  • Chapter connections. Either moving seamlessly through each chapter or having a link.
  • Thumbnail preview for each image in a work.
  • Redesigning the index to be more seamless when browsing, so it doesn’t reload every time the next page is pressed.
  • Get keyboard navigation working on all browsers (currently only tested on Chrome).
  • More if I think of it, give me suggestions!
